For families who are serious about preparation and want more than a tutoring marketplace can offer. Built on KIS Academics, Australia's only 5-star tutoring company. We accept a limited number of students each term.

Not a marketplace

Most services give you a shortlist and leave you to choose. We give you one person. The right one. We stand behind that recommendation.

Top 0.1% only

Every Honours tutor is among the highest-rated and most experienced in the KIS pool. Average ATAR 99.90+. Selected by hand, not algorithm.

We manage the relationship

Progress reviews. Curriculum adjustments. You stay informed without having to chase. We handle it.

Advisory, not just sessions

Your tutor is a consistent presence across the full preparation. Not a single lesson, an academic relationship.

Nicholas Zagon
Nicholas Zagon
Honours Founder · CEO, KIS Academics

"Most tutoring companies give families options. I built Honours to give them the answer."

Founding Honours came down to a single conviction: that it's possible to pull together the finest tutors, the most experienced team, and the highest standard of service, and deliver it with complete confidence to every family who needs it.

I hold degrees in Computer Science and Business Analytics, specialising in Cyber Security. That background shapes how I think about precision, fit, and the consequence of getting a critical decision wrong.

Every Honours application gets reviewed personally. Not because the system requires it. Because this is exactly where the standard has to be absolute.

Honours is built for families who already know their student needs excellent guidance, and who want someone to handle the selection and relationship on their behalf. You're not here because your child is struggling. You're here because the stakes are high and you want to be certain you have the right person. If that sounds like you, we're likely a good fit.

Standard KIS connects families with tutors from a rigorously vetted pool. It's excellent for most students. Honours is different: every tutor is drawn from our highest-calibre Honours pool, and we manage the entire relationship on your behalf. You don't browse, compare, or chase updates. We make one recommendation, stand behind it, and stay involved throughout.

Most families notice a shift in the first four to six weeks, particularly in confidence and exam approach. Because your tutor is selected specifically for your student's curriculum and learning style, there's no settling-in period. Our tutors arrive ready. Measurable grade improvements typically follow within a term.

Honours tutors are Australia's highest-achieving graduates, available from $150 per session. Most engagements run across a full school term or more. The exact structure, session frequency, and subject focus is worked out in your intake consultation. There are no hidden fees and no lock-in contracts.

Both. Most Honours families opt for online sessions, which allows us to match your student with the best tutor nationally rather than the best available locally. Our tutors are experienced with online delivery and use structured tools to keep sessions focused and productive. In-person sessions are available depending on location and tutor availability, and can be discussed during your intake consultation.

Honours tutors cover all major Australian curricula: VCE, HSC, QCE, WACE, SACE, IB, TCE, ACT SSC, and NTCET. Subjects include Mathematics, Sciences, English, Humanities, Languages, and specialist extension subjects. If you have a specific subject in mind, mention it in your application and we will confirm tutor availability before proceeding.

You came here looking for the answer. Here it is.
